Beca’s culture of camaraderie and great technical leaders were important factors in my decision to return to Beca in 2005.
Tracy has over 18 years’ experience in air quality consultancy after initially training as a chemical and process engineer. Having spent most of her career with Beca in New Zealand, Tracy relocated to Beca’s Melbourne office in 2011.
Tracy specialises in estimating air emissions, dispersion modelling, environmental impact statements and the assessment of mitigation options to improve air quality.
Tracy has been able to apply her skills across a range of markets. In addition to the Water and Wastewater sector, Tracy has provided pollutant mitigation advice to a range of Beca’s Food and Beverage, Power and Industrial clients. She has also worked closely with a range of municipal and industrial clients on wastewater treatment plants, composting plants, landfills and intensive farming ventures.
Tracy is actively involved with the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ), and is also Chair of the CASANZ Odour Special Interest Group.
Her extensive experience in techniques for monitoring odour effects in communities includes design of dairy programmes and community odour annoyance surveys as well as the design and management of air quality emission sampling programmes.
