Since November 2007, Mark has been Beca's Australian Airports Market Segment Manager, directing projects at Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and regional airports throughout the country.
Between 2003 and 2007, Mark was the Airfield and Civil Assets Manager at Melbourne Airport, responsible for all Civil Infrastructure, Airport Lighting and Airside Operations.
Prior to this he held roles as a senior consultant in procurement advisory work (primarily Public Private Partnerships), civil structural design consultant, undertaking construction management for a major subcontractor and as a specialist civil structures designer.
Mark was Beca's Project Director for the Adelaide Airport Runway and Taxiway Overlay project. This project is the largest known overlay project to be undertaken in Australia with almost 60,000 tonnes of asphalt laid in 60 night shifts with over 600 new LED Taxiway lights. This project was delivered on time, on budget, to high quality standards and with no Lost Time Injuries or unplanned operational impacts.
