Martin Billington - Technical Director of Building Services Engineering.

Based in Beca’s Auckland office, Martin is a Technical Director for the Building Services group. Martin’s main areas of involvement are airport services and infrastructure, hospital services and infrastructure and application of the US green buildings LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system.

Since 2004 Martin has been heavily involved in a number of projects with one of Beca's key clients, Auckland Airport. “Helping the airport refurbish and expand its international terminal via a number of large projects and obtain New Zealand’s first LEED certification has been a huge and rewarding challenge," he says. "It is great to see it being appreciated with the airport being recently rated a travellers choice world top 10 airport two years in row".

Healthcare market projects have been another major focus in recent years, enabling Martin to develop a comprehensive understanding of large hospital management requirements and clinical operations.
