Lee has over 15 years' experience working on mechanical engineering projects. Originally from the UK, he has spent the last 12 years working in the mining and metal markets in New Zealand.
Lee has a strong design and project management background that is supported by his interpersonal and communication skills. For the last five years, his experience has been used to build and lead a multidisciplinary team based at the site of one of our major clients.
During the past 12 years, Lee has held a number of roles including design engineer, furnace package engineer, project manager, manager for capital works, section manager for a team of 28 and client relationship manager for a major Beca industrial client.
Taking on these roles has helped Lee to developed key skills in mechanical equipment design, procurement and contract preparation, project planning, managing high performing teams, contractor management, business planning and commercial management. Building lasting relationships and trust with clients and colleagues is a challenge that Lee finds very rewarding.
Combining leadership skills and decision making abilities with a common sense approach to problem solving, Lee takes pride in providing clients with workable solutions.
