Greg has overall accountability for the business operations of the Beca Group, leading delivery of the company’s global strategic objectives. With a distinguished track record in project delivery and business growth, he brings extensive experience in the consulting sector to this role.
Greg was previously Managing Director of Beca Australia’s operations for six years, leading and building Beca’s Australian service offering. As Regional Manager for Wellington 2004–2006 he was focused on the government and commercial sectors, with a particular involvement in rail, defence and airports.
Earlier in his career Greg held senior posts in the Royal New Zealand Navy, and as a Navy Commander and Director of Marine Engineering, Greg led a number of strategic change projects.
Greg was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 1998 and is a Fellow of the Institution of Professional Engineers of New Zealand (IPENZ).
