Beca has announced the appointment of
Greg Lowe as its Group CEO. Mr Lowe will lead Beca’s international operations from 1 April, initially from Beca’s Australian head office in Melbourne, and then from the group headquarters in Auckland next year.
Beca Group Chairman Richard Aitken highlighted Mr Lowe’s exceptional track record in project delivery and business growth saying, “Greg brings considerable experience in the Australasian consulting engineering sector to this role which will help drive Beca’s future success in this country and internationally.”
A mechanical engineer by background, Mr Lowe is currently Managing Director of Beca’s business in Australia where he has been based in recent years.
Mr Lowe was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 1998. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ), and served on the IPENZ Board from 2000 to 2001. He previously managed Beca’s operations in the Wellington region, after a career with the Royal New Zealand Navy and private sector consulting.
