Thomas Sit, Regional Director for Beca in Singapore, collected the award for the Construction/Engineering Projects Under $100million category at a gala ceremony at the Regal Hotel in Hong Kong. The project has now won its category in South Australia, Australia and Asia-Pacific.
The awards are judged against entries from member associations of the APFPM by a judging panel of project managers drawn from organisations around the world. They aim to recognise and promote outstanding achievements in program and project management within the Asia-Pacific region.
APFPM is a network of independent national project management associations across the region which seeks to promote and develop project management more effectively by bringing together disparate associations. Current national members include Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Peru, Singapore, USA and Chile.
