With a team of over 40 geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists and hydrogelogists, backed up by an in-house soils testing laboratory, Beca Geotechnical’s skills, tools, resources and experience are available to all our clients.
Based on its rapidly expanding client portfolio, Beca Geotechnical’s hydrogeology team is highly regarded. In addition to groundwater development for water supply (deep groundwater bores), our hydrogeologists are skilled at identifying, evaluating, mapping, modelling and monitoring the effects of construction on groundwater flow and are able to assist clients in developing mitigation strategies and design solutions for tunnels and excavations.
Beca’s hydrogeologists develop and evaluate design concepts to help clients comply with strict environmental requirements. These include assessment of site suitability for land application of wastewater, through to the design of pond and landfill liners and assessment of environmental effects.
Beca Geotechnical provides specialist hydrogeological advice to commercial, industrial and infrastructure clients throughout New Zealand and in many overseas locations, in particular Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and the Pacific Islands.
