Helping our clients to reach their environmental goals in a sustainable, cost effective manner.
Beca has specialists who offer environmental management advice to a wide range of private and public sector clients. We take pride in knowing that our advice assists our clients as they attempt to achieve their environmental objectives in an environmentally sustainable manner. In developing environmental options, we aim to deliver targeted, cost-effective, practical and, where possible, innovative advice.
Part of our success relies on emphasising the local execution and management of projects and establishing close working relationships with our clients. To facilitate these more involved client relationships, we have environmental professionals located in our Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin offices.
Our established and growing environmental team is able to provide assistance across a wide range of disciplines including air quality and odour, greenhouse gas footprinting and management, and contamination investigation and risk management, water quality management, erosion and sediment control and environmental audits and due-diligence.
We also assist with environmental management/monitoring plans and systems, assessments of environmental effects (AEEs), applications for resource consent and consenting support (including preparing and presenting evidence at court hearings) and the management and integration of environmental inputs for large scale multi-disciplinary commissions.
Experience tells us our ability to influence a project’s environmental sustainability is often increased during the early project planning stage. As such, we strive to be involved as early as possible in the development planning process.
