Graeme has moved away from his previous role leading Beca’s planning business line to take on the management of Beca International Consultants Ltd (BICL).
BICL is the Beca group company that delivers services for international funding agencies such as The World Bank and Asian Development Bank, as well as certain government agencies. Most of this work involves design and construction of infrastructure such as roads, water supply, ports and airports in developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Graeme is a widely experienced land use planner and project manager with more than 25 years in the field. His particular strength lies in directing and managing large multi-disciplinary planning and infrastructure development studies. Graeme has worked in private practice and Government service in Hong Kong as well as in New Zealand, China, Fiji, India, Vanuatu, Tonga, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Maldives, Mongolia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Samoa and Sri Lanka.
As part of his BICL portfolio, Graeme is responsible for negotiating with management teams across the Beca group to assemble 'fit for task' project teams for international multi-disciplinary projects. Graeme also continues to act as job director on major domestic and international planning projects.
